Here are 8 of the stalwart souls who braved the hot and humid temps to walk the 4 mile loop around Lake Williams. I was the photographer and eager leader. Marilyn brought her friend Manuela from Germany by way of Brazil. Leann brought fellow UUCY gardener and herb club president Susan Walsh. UUCY's new minister Rev. Gabi, an avid hiker, also joined us, although without her dog. New people, and lots of new stories made for a cool walk. "Cool" as in fun, not cool as in comfortable.
We had a great time followed by a well deserved Janina's lunch.
Carol will be organizing the Aug walk. Given the summer heat, we'll be starting at 8. See you next month.
